New Adam n Eve Pumps!
2 October, 2008I adore the British. Only they can get away with using words like ’strumpet’ in a sentence without coming out sounding like a dork. But naming shoe colours that? Hmmm… you know what I think I’ll let them do that, too! The new pumps from Adam n Eve are chunky, a little bit old fashioned, but perfect for that outfit where you want comfortable heels that don’t look like they’ll snap if you put on a pound or two. They’re the perfect accessory for an outfit where you don’t want your shoes stealing the show, unlike one of their previous posts, the glorious Babii Pumps which you can build an entire outfit around and they’ll still be the centre of attention. But hey, with colour names like Fjord and Strumpet, who couldn’t administer some love on the Alicia pumps?!

I can’t answer for the other colors, but the Fjord color is because the shoes are pinin’ for their Norwegian home…along with that blue parrot that’s been nailed to the perch.

Strumpet is a great colour name (because its that really showy ostentatious look-at-me red)and Fjord (or as the website says Fiord) is technically not a dead parrot (its just resting) but a loverly deep blue.
