I swear, Alia’s the worst influence ever. Here I am, ten new releases waiting to be polished off, after just getting back from a month’s absence, and we’re off shopping again! But really, it’s our fault. One of the girls in Fashion Emergency put me on to a gorgeous little store called Nora Bodyskins & Fashions, and before I know it my inventory is about a dozen skins heavier… and yet, my purse is only $1200L lighter as a result! That’s right, the skins are only $100L a pop.
Anyone that knows me, knows that I’m a skin whore – or rather, I’m an upper-class, picky-as-heck skin-concubine. I love skins, but I’m so picky. So when I was handed the LM, I was dubious. But when I got to the store, tried on some demos, and found – wow! The Samantha line are adorable! They all have their charms, but Samantha in particular got my attention. AND she has a good, dark skin, which is very rare – to date, my only dark skins have been from Minnu. And her makeups are very tasteful, with something for every occasion. And as if the cute with the $100L price tag wasn’t reason enough, there’s another: The hairbases.
I’m not a fan of hairbases, as a rule. But Nora’s are adorable! They really look like hair! Not only that, but they come in four colours, black, brown, red and blonde, all of which look surprisingly good even on the dark skin tone, along with some basic sets pigtails and ponytails to wear with each hairbase. I’m in a very short haired phase right now, so I spent the evening walking around all glammed up in this gorgeous outfit.
